Seasonal wildlife alerts

Over summer our local wildlife are on the move, so please take care when on the roads and in particular at dawn and dusk.
As we come to the end of January 2025, Wildlife Ecosystems has been contacted about 12 Eastern Grey Kangaroos and 9 Swamp Wallabies being hit on local peninsula roads since the start of December.

One species on the move is blue tongue lizards, if you see them please leave them alone   and don't try to relocate them. If you find them in your garden at this time of year they will   most likely move on. If you have pet cats or dogs please refrain your pet from that area   until the lizard has moved on.
If you do have any questions or concerns please don't hesitate to contact us.
